Network Engagement Coordinator – Pacific Australian Emerging Leaders Network (PAELN)

Are you passionate about building cross-cultural relationships, equipping young leaders, and shaping a fairer, more connected Pacific region?

Micah Australia is seeking a Network Engagement Coordinator to help drive the impact of the Pacific Australian Emerging Leaders Network (PAELN)—a dynamic, faith-rooted initiative that brings together emerging leaders from Pacific Island nations, First Nations communities, and the Australian Pacific diaspora.

In this role, you will:

  • Strengthen relationships across a vibrant regional network of emerging leaders and alumni
  • Equip members to advocate on the issues that matter through tailored engagement plans
  • Coordinate high-level political and diplomatic engagement, including with MPs, DFAT, and embassies
  • Lead collaborative projects like the Pacific We See report and support member participation in regional forums
  • Work closely with partner organisations, including the Pacific Conference of Churches and church-based networks across the region

This is a 4-day/week, 11-month contract role starting in May 2025, based in Newcastle or remote, with some travel required.
